Hunza Cherry Blossom Tour Highlights:

Hunza Cherry Blossom beginning (Sakura) signals the end of chilly winter weather in Hunza and Nagar valley. The blossom season starts from the first week of April and ends by the mid of April (depends on altitude). Cherry blossom viewing began in ancient times when aristocrats wrote poetry and sang songs under the flowering trees of Cherry. The Japanese like cherry blossom because the shape and color of the petals reflect people’s ideal notion of purity and simplicity. They are also touched by the blossoms that they are so fragile short-lived scattering just a few days after the flower. Every time there is the slightest breeze, a shower of cherry-blossom petals is produced. At the same time one can also view the blossom of Apricot, Apples and Pears in the valley of Hunza.

Hunza Cherry Blossom Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Islamabad – Gilgit – Karimabad (By Air)
In the morning we will proceed to airport for morning flight to Gilgit by Pk.605 at 0715hrs, arrival in Gilgit at 0825hrs. After arrival at Gilgit we will onward drive to Karimabad, which will take three hours from Gilgit. Afternoon we will visit Baltit fort, local Bazar and also enjoy the scenic beauty of Hunza Cherry Blossom and Hunza Apricot Blossom season. Overnight stay in hotel at Karimabad.

Day 02: Karimabad (Hunza)
After breakfast we will go for half day jeep excursion to Nagar Valley and see the hoper glacier. Afternoon, we will depart for Gilgit, en route visits a women project (knitting workshop). Karimabad is the best place to enjoy Hunza Cherry Blossom tour. Overnight stay in Hotel at Karimabad.

Day 03: Hunza – Gilgit
After lunch we will proceed to Gilgit – visit local bazaar. Overnight stay in hotel at Gilgit.
*If the weather next day is suitable for flight then we will stay at Gilgit otherwise we will drive down to Chilas and next day to Islamabad.

Day 04: Gilgit – Islamabad (By Air)
We will take morning flight back to Islamabad. On arrival the participants will be dropped off to their residences or vice versa. End of Hunza Cherry Blossom tour
*If we remain unable to fly on day 4 then this day will be used to transfer from Gilgit to Besham by road and next day onward to Islamabad. End of Hunza Cherry Blossom tour and end of Pakistan tour services
